The handwritten text reads, "On the 3rd day of a 3-day weekend, I finally find my equalibrium. Enough chores done, enough things cleaned and put away, time enough away from work. The sliding door of the studio is open to the sun, the breeze, and the chimes. I can see azealeas, roses and apricot trees from where I paint. Occassionally a cat comes in to sniff the air. Groceries are bought and put away, meals are planned, friends are coming over for dinner later and Lisa's in the garage making glass. I write in red on a field of raw sienna. This is a little piece of heaven in my studio." The found poetry on the left is "luscious summer moment." |
